Wayside Waifs, Best Friends Monthly Giving Program
Wayside Waifs is happy to announce the beginning of their Best Friends program, set up to make giving to shelter animals easier than ever. The program allows donors to set up a monthly gift to our no kill shelter which in turn helps thousands of abandoned and surrendered dogs and cats each year. A monthly gift to Wayside Waifs makes you a Best Friend.
For the thousands of dogs and cats we rescue each year, this is a dream come true. Caring friends who are always there with a helping hand and a big heart. They are Wayside Waifs' Best Friends and their ongoing support means more help. And more love.
The program couldn't be more simple. Monthly contributions can be set up on our website by selecting the amount of your monthly gift and filling out a short form. When you become a Wayside Waifs' Best Friend, your monthly contributions will be helping the Midwest's largest no kill shelter in providing spay/neuter surgery, nutritional food, parasite treatments, training, toys, comfy beds and other vital care.
Here's a brief example of what your monthly contributions can provide:
$15 Provides formula for a litter of homeless puppies or kittens.
$25 Provides one animal with all the vaccinations he or she needs for a healthy start.
$50 Makes it possible to spay or neuter two animals and potentially prevent the the birth of hundreds of unwanted animals.
$100 Provides lifesaving heartworm treatment for three animals.
Wayside Waifs is committed to finding homes for all adoptable pets. It is the largest pet adoption center in Kansas City, placing over 5,000 animals each year in loving forever homes. We do not euthanize adoptable animals, and there are no time limits for animals in our care. Only animals suffering from significant medical issues or those that pose a danger are humanely euthanized. We are proud to be a part of Kansas City's no-kill community.
